Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays. Who doesn't love getting flowers, having a nice meal, and opening a small token of love? For the last few years I have painstakingly slaved over the stove to make my husband a delicious meal. We both can't stand the crowds or the crazy cost of a Valentine's dinner out - so it works out perfectly! This year might have been the tastiest ever. I even had time to make Andrew homemade chocolate chip cookies which I packaged in an old pringles can (tip from my pinterest page).
On the menu - asian style flank steak with sweet coleslaw and farro with butternut squash and goat cheese. And for dessert - cake pops! (more on those later)
