Olive Loves Ballet

Ballet is one of those things that I've hoped Olive would enjoy. I'm not sure if it's the cute little tutu's, or that I always wanted to take ballet as a kid. Regardless - Olive loves it. We found an amazing toddler class at  Brentwood Dance for Kids. The teacher is fabulous and it's only $10 - without having to sign up for a series. It's perfect for us!

Christmas Evening/Les Mis

On Christmas evening we took Olive's beloved babysitter, Brittany, out to dinner. Unfortunately our favorite spots were closed so we ended up at 208 Rodeo Drive. We had never been before and didn't know what to expect. Besides the service and the tourist factor - it was pretty good!

After dinner we met up with Christine, Garrett, Tim, Molly, and Tim's mom and brother Peter to see see Les Miserables at the Arclight. Let me just say this - I looooooooved the movie! It was the perfect ending to the perfect Christmas!

Christmas Morning

We spent the holidays with the Cahn's this year. We had a delicious meal on Christmas Eve, watched 'It's a Wonderful Life', and then woke up to a ton of presents! The holidays are so much more special now that we have a little one that gets excited when she hears the word Santa! I can only imagine what it will be like next year with 2!

Merry Christmas

Olive was very excited to leave this for Santa last night.......

Cookies for Santa

On Christmas Eve morning, daddy and Olive made chocolate chip cookies for Santa Claus. Olive loves to stir, but tends to get flour all over herself and the counter. Daddy is convinced that the little flour we lose makes the cookies less delicious. It's all the same to me - they are ALWAYS yummy.

Travel Town

Yesterday we drove to Travel Town at Griffith Park to ride the train and see Santa Claus. We got there right as it was closing but were able to purchase tickets for a special "after-hours" visit. As you can see - Olive loved it!
