Our Silent Moviestar

As a mom it's extremely difficult not to worry. From scraped knees to late night coughs - I worry about all the things that could go wrong with my baby. Needless to say, I've been more than a little worried that Olive hasn't been stringing her words into sentences yet. I know that she understands everything I say but it's hard not to compare her to all the other kids that are talking up a storm! Of course once she starts telling me how she doesn't want to eat my home-cooked meal because it is "gross" - I'm sure I'll think back and enjoy the time before she could express her opinions.

Going to Grandma's - Part 2

After playing in Grandma's garden, we headed out to pick blueberries and feed some animals at Underwood Family Farms. One thing is for sure - Olive loves livestock! She has no fear when it comes to feeding or petting the animals. After a fun day on the farm we ended the morning at Zzyzx Cafe for lunch. Thanks to Grandma Cahn for a wonderful morning!

Sunday morning we headed to Camarillo to spend some time with Grandma. I thought these pictures of Olive in her garden were pretty cute!

Bye-Bye Lula

Becky and Lula left early friday morning for Florida. We are definitely going to miss them like crazy!

LACMA - Toddler Style

On Thursday Olive and Lula checked out LA's newest art instillation- the levitated art mass at the LACMA. Although, I think their favorite thing was to run through the "Yellow Tube" exhibit by Jesus Rafael Soto. They played in it for a good 40 minutes!

Zimmer Museum

Wednesday afternoon we took the girls to the Zimmer Children's Museum. Another mom had told me about it a few weeks ago and I couldn't wait to go. As you can see - there was so much to do and see! Olive and Lula LOVED it! We are definitely going back soon.
