Santa Barbara Zoo

Early Saturday morning we headed up to Santa Barbara to celebrate Andrew's mom, dad, and sisters birthday! Our big plan was to go to the zoo and feed the giraffes. I think I might have been more excited than Olive - but I was still surprised how fearless our little girl was!

Even though I'm not the biggest fan of zoos - I do love seeing everything through our kid's eyes. Olive is amazed by everything and because of that - so am I! Her favorite things were the penguins and fish (no surprise there), the giraffe, and the snake (I was a little surprised at that one)!

Auntie Lindsay brought a cardboard box so that Olive could slide down the hill. Of course she LOVED it until she went down the other side of the hill far too fast and scraped up her toushie.  Oooops.

I think even Buster enjoyed our day! He hardly made a peep. I have to say - he has turned into the SWEETEST little boy. He is one of the happiest babies I've ever been around. Except for in the car. For whatever reason that kid does not like to be in the car or his carseat. Oh well...you win some, you lose some.
