I thought I would update everyone on the sleep training, or lack there of. Let's just say it isn't exactly working for Olive and I. We have our own routine and are sticking with it. Granted, I wish she were sleeping through the night consistently, but I just can't let her cry. Even though "experts" say that babies should be sleeping through the night by 5 months and if they aren't they need to "cry it out". What if they are hungry? Or just need mommy's reassurance? Either way, when Olive cries I go to her. With that being said, sometimes she sleeps 10 hours straight. And sometimes she wakes up at 1am and 6am. I figure it could be a lot worse.
