I'm not going to lie - this last week has been difficult. Our house is a complete disaster and there are workers here 24/7. It is noisy, dusty, and a pain in the butt to be at the house while they are working. And let me just say this: it is not easy finding things to do outside the house with a 6 month old for 8 hours straight. Even when we are finally home and everyone is gone - it is still disheartening. Our entire ceiling is covered in plastic.
Thankfully there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Our new roof looks amazing and is almost done. Next up - the HVAC. I just hope it all ends soon before it drives me to drink. Oh wait, I'm already on my second glass of wine. Guess I'm there already.
