For the last few days we have been redoing our roof. Because it is loud and extremely dusty, we decided to get out of the house as much as we could this weekend. On Saturday we started our day with an early breakfast at Cafe Latte.
It was Olive's first time in a high chair (she only lasted 2 minutes) and drinking out of a big girl glass.
Then we headed over to Kidsland to look for a new car seat. Olive is getting a little too big for her newborn one so we upgraded to the Britex Roundabout. The new car seat goes up to 55 pounds and can be either rear or front facing. Our baby is growing up way too fast.
After Kidsland we headed over to the Westside Pavillion for lunch at La Salsa and our Gymboree class. It was daddy's first time experiencing what we do every Tuesday afternoon. Unfortunately we were the only ones in the class! Apparently all the babies that were scheduled for Saturdays had recently moved up to Level 2.
After our class we drove to Camarillo to have dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Cahn. Olive even got to play with some of daddy's old toys!
She also loved gnawing on the kitchen counter. I keep thinking she is teething, but haven't seen anything poking through her gums yet!
Dinner, as usual, was delicious. Roast Beef, Polenta, and Grilled Veggies.
And for dessert - Lemon Cake!
