I bought a baby book for Olive's 1st year a few months ago. In it there are pages for her handprints and footprints. I've been wanting to do it for a few days, but both Andrew and I weren't sure how. Not only would we have to keep her calm, but we would also have to put her feet and hands in ink and place carefully on each page. All the while keeping the ink off her clothes AND us! Not exactly easy. We decided to get the bath all ready so we could clean her up quickly and keep her happy. Olive absolutely LOVES her bath time. It was the one thing that I was nervous about and now I love it too! In any case, we were able to get the footprints on the page. Granted we also got it on mommy's arm and daddy's t-shirt. Unfortunately we weren't able to get her hands. I figure we will save that for another day!
