Bye Bye Sac

It's always fun and difficult to go home. I'm so stuck in my ways with the kids that sometimes getting out of our daily routine is enough to send me into a tailspin. This trip was no exception. Between Buster's haircut (which is adorable now that it is growing in), Andrew's car breaking down on me, Andrew not coming (since we had no car to drive back home in), and my mom and I getting into it - it was definitely a little stressful. But it was also a TON of fun. The kids loved playing with their cousins and my moms dog, Ida's birthday party was a blast, I got to spend an evening with my sister Karrie, and thankfully my mom and I worked it out. Now....I miss being there.

Ida's Birthday Party

The entire reason for our trip to Sacramento, was to celebrate Ida's birthday. What a great party! The kids had a blast and it was so great seeing everyone. And that cake! Oh my goodness it was gorgeous. So was the birthday girl. Happy Birthday Ida - we love you!

Buster's Haircut

A few weeks ago we drove up to Sacramento to celebrate Ida's birthday. On the first day, we had a little mishap with a bang trim for Buster so we had it fixed at a salon the next day. Granted - I was in shock because it was so so so so so so so short and I was obsessed with his long hair. Now, I'm used to it and its super cute. Plus....it's just hair and will grow back in no time.
