Andrew and I made a deal recently - we would try to eat in as much as possible. We realized just how much we go out and have an enormous credit card bill to prove it! I'm proud to say that we stayed in 5 nights out of 7 this last week. And the 2 nights we did go out my mom took us to dinner! Case in point - Saturday night we drove to the Valley to have dinner at the famous Smokehouse Restaurant. Apparently my stepdad went there as a kid!
My sister is in town for a horse show so it was nice to see her. We have a full day of fun stuff planned for Tuesday afternoon and night - so I'm looking forward to seeing her again. Although you can imagine my surprise when she ordered the ribs since she is a vegetarian!
Unfortunately Olive was not on her best behavior - she didn't want to sit still! She is at the stage where she wants to pick up every fork, knife, and spoon and either bang it against something or put it in her mouth! It's the same with almost everything she sees these days. And yes - that is a rib she has in her hands. See.....I told you.
