I've been wanting to have a custom cartoon drawing of our family for awhile now. I finally decided to do it as an early Christmas present for Andrew (and by Andrew....I mean me!). I absolutely love how it turned out.
Saturday morning, the boys (and Karrie!) decided to hike Glacier Point. We met them at the top so we could let the kids run around, take pictures, and pick my sister up. Thankfully it wasn't raining.
We spent the weekend in Yosemite with my family for Olive's birthday. We went back and forth on whether we should make the trek because it was going to rain all weekend - but decided to go for it. Yosemite is GORGEOUS - even when the weather isn't amazing. Plus it was so nice to spend it with the family. (more pics to come!)
Happy birthday (a little late) to this amazing, crazy, silly, sweet, intelligent, special, kind, and all around fabulous little girl. It's hard to believe that she is 6 years old.
I'll post pictures soon of her birthday weekend in Yosemite.
I've been dreaming about this piano for over a year. I've searched endlessly on eBay, craigslist, etsy, 1st dibs, and any estate sale in any state I could find. Unfortunately, I was usually a few days late or a few dollars short. A little over a week ago I found one!!! Thankfully it all worked out and it's getting picked up in the next week or two! I'll update with photos when it's travelled across the country and is here in Los Angeles.
Buster's been asking to go to the "museum" by our house. On Thursday I decided to take him to Noah's Ark at the Skirball. Initially he was not happy because we passed the gift shop before going in. Of course he wanted me to buy him a toy and couldn't understand why I wouldn't! Thankfully we were able to turn our day around once we got inside.
