We arrived in Tulum around 5pm Monday night. Our first hotel was the Sanara (my favorite). The room, the food, the beach, and the people were all fantastic. We had a drink and some dinner at the restaurant and decided to have a mellow night reading in the room. The next morning we woke up, spent a little time on the beach, and got a driver to take us to Dos Ojos Cenote. The water was freezing....but it felt amazing since it was soooooo hot and humid out. When we got back to the hotel - we had massages at the spa. For dinner, we had reservations at Kitchen Table. The octopus was cooked to perfection and it was nice spending some quiet time with my mom. So far our trip was off to a GREAT start.
