Last weekend we celebrated Grandma's birthday at Moqueca with the entire Cahn clan. The food and drinks were soooooo delicious - I can't wait to go back! Happy Birthday Grandma. We love you!

Moodboard - House
I feel like it might take us years to get our house in order. Every day, I find things that I would look amazing in it. For example - I feel in love with the Melrose couch for our main living room. We went and looked at it and my mom bought it for us as an early Christmas present (thanks mom!!!!). I try and look on craigslist every few days - just in case something catches my eye. We found 2 green alcapulco chairs for $100 a few weeks ago! And that teardrop shelf….I mean…I LOVE it.
Shop these items: Dot & Bo Geo Planters 2. Apt2B Melrose Sectional 3. Land of Nod ornaments 4. Dot and Bo Teardrop shelf 5. Alcapulco chair

Night at Grandma & Grandpas
A few weekends ago we spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa. It was like the olden days before our house was done (let's be honest…our house still isn't done). The kids love spending time there and I'm so thankful to have in laws that are so amazing.

Olive's New Friends
Olive loves her new school. Most of the kids in her class live super close to us - which is nice. We recently discovered that the boy she has a huge crush on (not pictured) is right around the corner. They are all pretty darn adorable.

Succulents with Grandma
Thank goodness Andrew's mom has a green thumb……I have never been good at taking care of plants. A few weeks ago we planted succulents in the pool planters. We may end up filling them in with more succulents and gravel, but it definitely looks WAY better than what was there before! Thanks Carolyn for taking the time and helping me with this project! Up next are the indoor planters! (gulp…I've already managed to kill 4 ferns that we were planning on using…..)

Banana Bread
Last week Andrew was gone for a few days on a job at Facebook. Surprisingly, the kids and I had a good time while he was gone. We painted, played with trains, watched movies, planted succulents with grandma, and made banana bread!
Normally Andrew is the one that does all the baking - so I was a little worried it wouldn't turn it. Much to my relief, it was yummy! I couldn't find the lemon juice so it didn't rise as much as it should have but it was still good.
Here is Andrew's grandmas recipe if you are interested.
