The Rufer family tradition is to spend the week following Christmas in Southern California . It usually involves a few days of enjoying the warm weather on the beach and a trip to Disneyland. This year we all decided to go on New Years Eve. Big Mistake! At first we were surprised at how short the line to 'It's a Small World Was', but by the time we stopped to have lunch the line for Pirates was literally wrapped around the entire park!
Regardless of the crowds, we all had a great time. Except for when we stood in line to ride the kiddie roller coaster and the woman wouldn't let Olive on because she didn't measure 35". (You can't tell from the photo since she is leaning forward - but her head actually touched the top of the minimum height line)
