Sunday night, Molly and Tim had a few people over for a delicious home cooked meal. Molly recently got a job as a 4th grade teacher at a very posh private school so a little celebrating was in order! As you can tell from the photos - we got the sitter for the evening. Sometimes it's just too hard to enjoy yourself when you've got a toddler needing something every few minutes! Congrats Molly - we are so proud of you!

Sushi in Newport
After spending a gorgeous day on the beach, we walked down to San Shi Go Sushi for dinner with the family. Unfortunately, Olive isn't one of those well behaved little kids who sit in their high chair for hours on end. She wants to be where the action is and usually makes dinner an exercise for both mommy and daddy!

Bay Island
Saturday afternoon we drove to Bay Island to spend some time with my family. Here are a few cute pictures that Andrew took while we were there. It's not easy getting shots of Olive smiling these days. She would rather run around then sit still on mommy's lap!
Video Shoot
Last week Becky and I took the girls to the Rose Garden at USC. We tried to get some video footage so Andrew can cut a little music video together. Here are a few pictures from the shoot!

Freddy Smalls
Friday night we joined Todd and Lizzy for dinner at Freddy Smalls. Although it's pretty tiny inside, it's worth it if you have to wait. Unless of course, you have a toddler! The food was delicious - especially with candied bacon accompanying almost every dish. Who doesn't love bacon???
Play-Doh
The other day I brought out the Play-Doh and let Olive have it! She sat in her chair and played for over an hour. I'm not quite sure she has mastered it yet, but she is certainly trying her hardest.
Uh-Oh
For my birthday this year Andrew bought me a fancy new camera. I was on the fence about it for a few weeks but started loving it during our New York trip. Unfortunately yesterday, while riding the Metro to the USC Science Center, the camera was left behind. I'm not going to name names, but someone (ANDREW) forgot it on the seat! I did everything I could think of to get it back - I called the Metro number and submitted a claim. I pressed the emergency RED button at the station (they told me to) and described the camera and gave as much information as I possibly could. Nothing had been found at the time - but she assured me that it takes at least 2-3 days for anything to end up in Lost and Found. Although I was really bummed out - it could have been a lot worse. We could have left Olive behind. Thankfully, we aren't as irresponsible when it comes to our daughter.
Just because I'm curious as to what people think the outcome will be - here is a poll.
