Sunday night Andrew to took me out for a romantic Mothers Day dinner at Izakaya. It is one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles and I always leave completely stuffed!
The best things to order are the pumpkin, green beans, baked crab roll, Kobe burger, and the crispy rice spicy tuna. I end up getting seconds of the pumpkin every time - it's that good!
After our yummy meal we headed to the Grove to finally see the Avengers. It definitely lived up to the hype. I thought for sure it would be cheesy and lackluster. I should have known that anything with Robert Downey, Jr would be fantastic. He is just so snarky and amazing as Tony Stark that it is hard to NOT like the movie. The biggest surprise for me was Mark Ruffalo as the hulk - I actually thought he was really good! All in all, it was a great action packed movie - a definite must see for everyone this summer!
